Re: 4th of July Plans
It's supposed to rain.
-- We haven't really made any plans. If it doesn't rain we might try to go out on the boat. DH wants to go fishing but we said we weren't going to go fishing until vacation- Which is 1.5 wks away!
If it rains. Who knows what we'll end up doing. Probably nothing. Maybe cookin' some hamburgers on the grill or something. We have a covered carport that we usually cook under if it rains when we are planning on cooking some burgers. I
burgers!
as far as i know hanging out with MIL and her parents. I guess there will be fireworks but other than that I do not know.?
I know Friday I'll be taking my day off to run to the teacher store and get some stuff for the classroom.?
Kevin and his friends have a tradition for 4th of July Weekend - there is this big weekend concert/festival thing, Jam in the Valley, and they always go. It involves camping. I am a little too high maintenance to enjoy it, but I went last year. And made the best of it, even when his friends almost tipped me over in a port-a-potty (you know, the ones that had been there, being used for 3 days...yummy). Its big time redneck, but they just looooove it. I have off on Friday, so I am planning on going, although if it rains I am considering ditching. I don't enjoy it enough to sit through the rain for it. I have to work on the 4th, but only from 8pm-midnight, so only for the good parts. Lame.
**Sidenote - I will let you know after the weekend if Kevin's (crazy) ex shows up and what goes down...last I hear she was "thinking about it"**?
Our town is having fireworks over rhe river on Friday night. Hopefully, the rain will hold off so that they'll go on.
On the 4th, DH and I are traveling down to NJ to see my cousin (also expecting!) and her family for the day. They have a festival going on near their house that we're planning to attend. It's supposed to be a beautiful day!

Since DH is at work I am going to my aunts bay house. We are having BBQ. I am looking forward to it since I do not get to see my mom's side of the family very much.
