New Info on Albertabride!

I just heard back from Angie a few minutes ago.  Here is the update that she gave me:

She got transfered to a different hospital monday night. Just after getting here  she went into active labour, contracts were 2 min apart for about 8 hrs. they had prepared everything for baby to arrive, she asked for an epidural and about 2 hrs after getting it the contracts slowed and finally stopped at 10am yesterday morning. She's still 3cm, 100 effaced and have "bulging" membranes. It looks like right now she will be in the hospital until baby arrives, which could be anytime between now and Sept. She doesn't have easy internet acess because she can't leave her bed but she will update us all as soon as she can. She also wants to thank everyone for thinking of her:-)

Re: New Info on Albertabride!

  • Oh my gosh! The poor thing! Thank you so much for updating us. I have been thinking about her so much. Glad to hear the baby isn't here yet... stay in there spud!!!!!!!!
  • Thanks for the update! Still sending some good vibes her way!
  • Nothing like a good old epidural to slow down contractions.  And in this case, that couldn' t be better news.

I really hope she can hang on for another good month.  At least.
