I just heard back from Angie a few minutes ago. Here is the update that she gave me:
She got transfered to a different hospital monday night. Just after getting here she went into active labour, contracts were 2 min apart for about 8 hrs. they had prepared everything for baby to arrive, she asked for an epidural and about 2 hrs after getting it the contracts slowed and finally stopped at 10am yesterday morning. She's still 3cm, 100 effaced and have "bulging" membranes. It looks like right now she will be in the hospital until baby arrives, which could be anytime between now and Sept. She doesn't have easy internet acess because she can't leave her bed but she will update us all as soon as she can. She also wants to thank everyone for thinking of her:-)
Re: New Info on Albertabride!
Nothing like a good old epidural to slow down contractions. And in this case, that couldn' t be better news.
I really hope she can hang on for another good month. At least.
Thanks again for keeping us in the loop Betty.
I wish her all the strength to get through this. I know that she can do it. And please spud, sit tight, we want to meet you too, but we're willing to wait for a month! They are all in my thoughts.
Thanks for the update Betty. I hope the baby decides to stay a lot longer.

Thanks for the update Betty. I have been thinking about her and the baby.
So glad to hear that things have slowed down for now. I'm sending positive vibes that babe stays in there for as long as possible!
I am glad they were able to stop the labour for now. I really hope that baby stays in there for as long as possible.
My thoughts are with you Angie!
