My 25th birthday is on Monday! I took the day off and I'm hoping to go see Public Enemies with my husband
*Our 1st anniversary is on Saturday. Unfortunatly, DH won't be here to celebrate it with me- that's the breaks of being a military wife
But at least it's July 4th, so there are on base events to keep me busy all day.
*I got maternity pictures taken today. Can't wait to see how they turn out. Less than 6 weeks to go until we get to meet our little cherry blossom- yay!

How did you make the stars to nice and so straight?

Jason drew the flag out for me - we had quite the 'discussion' about how to do it because the door is so long and narrow.
He printed out the stars for me and we taped together pages and then he was nice enough to cut out all the stars for me and then I just put my 'stencil' over the blue and brushed the white paint on.
That is absolutely beautiful, what a great job you did on it, I love it! It's going to look great hanging up, I may need to commission you to do mine! ( I read your blog and yes the blue goes to the left when standing)
Oh and I think yours look much better than PB, alot more character!

When I first read the post, I thought I didn't have anything to AW today.
Then my sup just came over and told me we are actually getting merit raises w/ our mid-year reviews. (They had previously been denied for the year based on the economy). It must have been fate for AW Thursday

My AW - I will be done with law school classes in SEVEN DAYS! Done completely in EIGHT days (besides the bar)! I cannot wait.

It is one month until our one year anniversary and our anniversary trip! Napa and Sonoma Valley here we come!
It felt great to win, just because I know he has worked his a-- off for 3 years for a large, nationwide restaurant chain and they are doing so much shady stuff to get rid of higher paid management. He got fired for not visiting a table during dinner rush when he was fixing the dishwasher in the kitchen. His boss said he lied to her about the incident and then she totally had to backtrack in the appeal.
It has really bothered him and it was tough in this economy to find something in the restaurant business to match what he was making and benefits, etc....it sucks seeing your spouse feel like crap!
July. Only a few weeks away. Eeeek!

My AW: My dad met with his cardiologist today, four weeks post-op from a triple bypass and valve replacement. Doctor says he is doing great, he was released to drive, and he can go back to work in two weeks. I thought Dad was going to hug the doctor.
