This place is soooooo quiet!
I thought I was going to be busy at work today...um nope! We are so dead. I hope this afternoon picks up some so the time goes a little faster.
Kelsey is at home w/my SIL today and I want to be there so bad!!

I'm around today!!! i'm trying to get alot of stuff done and have my desk clean before the end of the day. It's getting there. I"m soooo ready to be out of here already!! I think DH and I are going to go night fishing tonight!!! He's been taking our nieces the past couple of days in the later part of the day (when it's not so hot) and going, but tonight we are going to go off a lit pier. It should be fun. I think i'm going to pack a picnic basket
I did something yesterday that I'm soo relieved to have done. I applied for a line of credit and got approved through my credit union. It's not for much and we should be able to pay it back in no time. I did it so we could consolidate a bunch of stuff that was straggling behind and pay off a few debts we had. I think it will help in the long run, atleast I keep telling myself this. What do ya'll think?
megan- I want to do this! Dh and I keep trying to figure out whats the best thing to do. We dont have a lot of debt, but what he have is annoying. I think I will try to do this also in the near future.

I posted on a couple of other threads earlier. Our offices are closing at 3:00 and then I'll be offline for the rest of the weekend sicne DH and I will be doing stuff around the house and will be away all day Saturday.
Meg - consolidating and only paying interest once is a good idea. I hope you were able to get a decent interest rate!

Ladies - I agree with you all on the credit union line of credit. Good for you Megan and I hope the rest of you are able to get this if you want to/need to.

I've been busy today.?
Had the day off so I; drove hubby to work, went to SS office (closed) went to local DMV office (closed!) went to walk in clinic for TB test and physical for work, got fingerprints done for work. went to teacher store, bought a bathing suit at Marshalls, went to mall for lunch and then to buy swim cap and goggles at sporting store, went to other DMV (only one open in a 20 mile radius). was there for 2 hours, but will finally have a US license!
then I picked up hubby from work, and took him to dinner at the restaurant of the hotel we got married in! Sort of a combo his birthday/ our 4 month anniversary!
tomorrow we head down to MILs for the weekend. hope you all have a happy 4th?
