Happy 4th of July everyone!! Man, i'm sooooooooo ready for the long weekend!
Tomorrow night, DH and i are heading up to visit his parents in NH. We don't have much planned besides me going to a friend's family baby shower at 1pm on the 4th. Probably just chillin' and visiting with the ILs. Can't wait!!

Finally! A Married Bio!!
Tomorrow I get out of work at 2pm, so I am going to run home and clean up our house to get ready for our friends who are visiting Thursday night. They are bringing us pizza and spumoni from L&B! Friday we are all going to hang out by the pool and hopefully do nothing but relax all day. I don?t know about you ladies, but I need a break! Early Saturday morning we are driving down to LBI to stay at my aunt?s new shore house for the weekend. It should be really nice- apparently it is an 8 bedroom house, 60 ft from the beach!

we are staying in town. our apartment could use some serious cleaning and we'll hopefully have a new pot rack and table/chairs by friday. it will be a weekend of assembling furniture ad getting organized. my bff is visiting the following weekend so it will be nice to not worry about cleaning during the week.?
we're also planning to meet some friends at the LIC beer garden on saturday to celebrate the 4th. we prefer beer to fireworks anyway

At the accounting firm I work at, we don't get any of the winter holidays off due to busy season, so they give us 4 day weekends for the summer holidays. So I'm driving up to Cape Cod with friends tomorrow morning and then DH is coming later after work. Can't wait!
Unfortunately, the weather forecast doesn't look good...

Fri: hanging out at the house as per usual
, taking advantage of the Sherwin Williams paint sale going on now
Sat: my cousins are visiting from Antigua, so I shall be doing touristy stuff with them, and then fireworks at night in the city. Too bad the house is not ready, they would have been over for the weekend.
BBQ at our former neighbor's home later that night
Sun: house again, a guy is coming to give us estimates on the rest of the windows.

I have a wedding to go to on the 4th (second year in a row that I have a wedding that day!). I have a gig that afternoon (dancing at a block party - now THAT shouldn't be to hot and uncomfortable!). Not sure what we are doing the rest of the weekend!

Sounds like a good time. We're hopefully going to the original Dinosaur in Syracuse this weekend.
Tomorrow, DH is off, so we're going over to his aunt's house in upstate NY for a little informal birthday gathering for her. Saturday, we don't have any plans yet, but it happens to be my sister's BF's birthday, and we're way overdue for a visit with DH's grandparents so maybe one of those, not sure yet. Sunday, we're going to the beach with crazy and DHs and the kiddos. Then Sunday night probably a bit of cleaning.

This weekend has certainly been a long time coming...!
My MIL is throwing a huge BBQ in the BX, that is better described as a darn block party because everyone she knows, plus friends of me and DH will be there.
I'm looking forward to it, but ?know that DH will be manning two huge grills of not just the usual hot dogs and burgers, but jerk chicken, and roast corn. Since, he busts his butt for a living cooking, he'll be doing the same for the fourth. So, this means I'll give in and be his little helper for the weekend, long as "wifey" gets to taste everything first!
