Does this mean, the NYC Nesties went all out for the holiday weekend? What did you do?

I went to look at the fireworks with my cousins on Saturday and had fun. The only thing though is I didnt get to eat any bbq, so that was not right. Alright, it's back to work for me.

I haven't really been on from home cuz my computer's acting up. We had a really nice weekend, completely uneventful but so nice.

It was good, super busy.... between hitting a few bbq then getting ready for our trip to San Diego. Learned a drinking game called Flip cup... Has anybody played?

we did a lot of cleaning this weekend b/c my bff is visiting next weekend. can't wait to see her!! we also checked out the studio square beer garden in LIC. definitely got a thumbs up for the extensive beer selection and having sangria on tap!?

We got back from Lake George on Saturday and then immediately started packing up our apartment. We are moving on Saturday and dh had to go back to work today, so we needed to get a lot done. I am essentially useless right now...can't lift, can't bend, can't seem to muster the energy! oh, but does anyone want to hear about my major baby related bargain? one of my neighbors is selling a really expensive glider and ottoman (she says it was 1100$ four years ago) to me for $300 Big Smile

Yes, there are cheaper ones, but this one is so nice and really comfy. I feel good, thanks for asking. a little low energy but nothing worth complaining about.

We stayed in the city. Had a bbq on our tiny balcony and went to watch the fireworks. What great weather we had this weekend! Cool

We were going to go to the fireworks show but then got invited to the neighbors instead. It was a really good time. The kids went in the pool and the adults chatted and had smores in the evening. Great day!

We went home to our hometown. Let's see: we saw loooots of people, ate lots of food, drank a fair share, did some hot-tubbing, and even managed to make it to the movies to see Public Enemies. It was the kind of weekend where I not only reconnected with friends but I also made some new connections. There was a rare occasion where we had fewer than 12 rolling up anywhere. Definitely felt like we had a posse going. Sweet.

We had a crazy busy weekend! Friday, we went up to visit DH's aunt for her birthday, it was so fun! DH's cousin's kids (9-year-old twins and 2.5 year-old) just ran around Sasha the entire time, they love her so much, it's too cute! Saturday morning, we went to visit DH's grandparents, whom we haven't seen in a while (and they live about 15 minutes away from us Embarrassed ). Then Saturday afternoon, we went to my parents' house for a little barbecue. Sunday, went to the beach here in Brooklyn with Jennifer and her family. It was a gret weekend!

Tracy, I'm so jealous of you for getting such a great bargain on a glider, I never actually got one for myself, mostly because I couldn't see spending so much money.

And Amy, how was Public Enemies? I've been wanting to see it.

Public Enemies was good. I had a few criticisms, but overall a great flick.

Is it bad that I want a glider and am not expecting? Seriously.
