I can't believe it's already Monday!
The weekend was jam-packed:
F - Sleep in, Costco and some errands during the day, BBQ at H's cousin's new home, got to see their house and new baby. She is a little sweetheart.
S - Gym in the am, beach time and BBQ at my bff's sister's house in San Juan Capistrano. Good food, strong drinks, hilarity ensued. Fun times.
Sun - Drive back from OC way too early, nap and then off to Arrowhead for a dinner at the summer home of a partner at H's work. Stunning home with views of the lake. Had some nice conversations with many of the attendees.
I'm exhausted though. I need a vacation from my 3 day weekend. This week I'm trying to catch up on sleep and I have a fun spa evening with some cool chicks later in the week.
I had a fun weekend!
Friday: Pool party
Sat: Party hopping in Newport
Sun: Death Cab at the Hollywood Bowl which was AMAZING.
This week is my last week of summer school and then I have Incubus in Vegas this weekend...just need to make it through!
I'm not ready to be back at work. This weekend was a blast.
Fri--lazy day around the house and then class at night
Sat-did a 5k with Sona (she was so cute and well behaved I wanted to cry
), baked a lot, and then went to a party and watched fireworks
Sunday--my brother flew in, we did Balboa for a while and hit the dog beach followed by lots of cocktails at home
This week I'm multitasking working wierd hours and entertaining while he is here. Hopefully tomorrow we are headed to Catalina for the day :-)

Fri- spent the day with my H, the repair man was at my house til 9:30pm fixing my washer
Sat- did a million loads of laundry, hung out at home during the day, at night went to BILs house for dinner and fireworks
Sun- nothing fun- cleaned, more laundry
This week: work, work and work
Mondays are rough...
Thurs - hiking, Plums, farmers market, sushi, dive bar.
Fri - kayaking, dinner in downtown HB
Sat - 5K, parade, lots of party hopping on bikes
Sun - recovery & a yummy bbq.
this week - back on the wagon & a wedding this weekend.
super fun weekend, but even with the extra day, far too short.
friday - pedis with the teen, then nap with the bean, dinner at the grandparents' and an unexpected movie date with the hub. saw "the proposal." fell in lust with ryan reynolds.
saturday - made red velvet pound cake, shared mickey d's breakfast with the bean, had lunch with the ILs while the hub golfed with grandpa, got the car washed, napped with the bean again, helped put dinner together, ate a lot of freaking BBQ and homemade ice cream, and then saw fireworks at the fairplex.
sunday - went to church for communion, had lunch at souplantation *gasp* - hey, we were with old folks - napped with the bean again (see a pattern?), and then had dinner with the ILs at frida's in glendale.
this week is quiet but i'm excited for a bacon GTG with some awesome buddies
Tons of crap around the house....yay, we were actually productive!!
No bbq's or fireworks, though! boo!
Thursday: Check into Le Parker Meridien. Lunch at momofuku ssam bar. Explore Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. Go to Yankee game. Cheer for Ichiro. Piss off New Yorkers. Mariners win.
Friday: Lunch at Le Bernardin. Walk around Central Park. Dinner with friends at wd-50. Tour the kitchen and chat with Wylie Dufresne. Karaoke.
Saturday: Lunch with friends at Jean-Georges. Walk with friends around Columbus Circle. Take photos of dream eats for next trip (Per Se and Masa). Hang out at friend's apartment. Fly home. See all sorts of fireworks from the plane. Awesome.
Sunday: Do laundry. Go to supermarket. Dinner with Mr. Mo's friends at Ford's Filling Station. Death Cab for Cutie with the L.A. Philharmonic at the Hollywood Bowl -- an incredible and other-worldly show.
Really really really sad to be at work.

Super chill, domesticated weekend. Got a lot of stuff done around the house.
We were trying to decide what to do for fireworks, but forgot they went off at nine and were in the movies at that time. Transformers 2 sucked. I am over action movies for this year.
Best part of the weekend: we were walking into the movies, which is next to a park where people were gathering to watch fireworks. I said to my H, "We can go there for fireworks," and he said, "No, it's too family-oriented." This woman turned around and just GLARED at us. We couldn't stop laughing.
Friday: Vet appointment with our foster puppy for his heart condition,divorce drama (better explained in the blog for people who fear I am "too bitter"). Failed crib shopping.
Saturday: Worked around the house, BBQ & fireworks at a friend's house.
Sunday: More failed crib shopping, True Blood marathon from the comfort of the couch.

Boo, Monday! I had a fun in the sun weekend in Arizona. Lounged by the pool all day long cocktail in hand, partied as the sun came up, survived the hellish drive for the last time ever (I am flying from now on) and got back way too late last night. I'm barely alive right now. Time to get back to the real world.
The weekend was relaxed and mellow: lots of sleeping in and naps, bbq with the neighbors, catching part of the city's fireworks show from the gates of our complex. Then our refrigerator decided to freak out on us yesterday morning, but seemed to have resolved its issues while we were out watching a movie later in the afternoon. Weirdness, but at least it saves us some $.
This week: Work, work and more work. I have three bench trials, all of which involve kids resisting arrest or beating up on cops. Good times.

fri: ran 5,000 errands. me + babies 'r us = wanting to commit suicide.
sat: made a salad, went to bbq/b-day party/4th party. I may or may not have fallen asleep before the sun went down.
sun: chilled
this week: my first full week as a lady of leisure. just woke up from a nap.
. getting my hairs cut tomorrow and I have a dr's appt wed.
