Now that I have been off for a week and had time to settle in (and the weather has warmed up), it feels officially like Summer to me. I so wish we had a pool right now, but my sister's and nieghbour's will have to do.
So, what are your plans this season? Anything going on that you are really looking forward to?
Re: Summer fun!
YAY for summer!
we don't have anything planned, really, but lots of ideas for day trips. We're not too far from a great beach, so we plan on hitting that up quite a bit.
How about you?
Laying in the pool, going to a close friend's wedding, playing with my nieces, our baby shower, my birthday, 2 more ultrasounds, our 5 year anniversary.
No vacation this summer, but having a baby in late August/early September will more than make up for that!
I can't wait to put a pool in (probably 2011). On the hot hot days I crave laying in there with a drink in hand
Honestly, I can't wait for the summer to be over. It is just so busy this year.
We had DS's birthday party yesterday and for the rest of the summer I have the following to organize:
So I am looking forward to a nice quiet fall.
Oh you lucky people who are actually experiencing summer! It has been raining here non-stop for at least 3 weeks now and the forecast is still a little storm cloud until at least the end of this week! I can't take it anymore! And my garden especially can't take it anymore.
If it ever does get nice out, I have lots of stuff I'm looking forward to this summer. I hope to hit the Jazz Fest this weekend. The Just For Laughs festival starts soon as well. Then there's one of my favourite bands playing at the Hot Air Balloon festival. There's also the fireworks competition going on for another few weeks. And some sidewalk sales that are just fun to go through because of all the street activities associated with them.
I guess I'm just looking forward to Montreal summer life! Now if only summer would actually get here for us...
Ouuu I love summer. No major plans for me. Just got back from a wonderful cottage weekend, hopefully will be able to spend a bunch more time up there for the rest of the summer.
I wish I knew someone with a pool. Our backyard in our current place isn't set up for one, maybe in our next house we'll get one... although I'd sort of doubt we'd ever actually get one. Seem like a lot of work. I'd rather swim in lakes and just visit people with pools!
Enjoy vacation!
We don't have too much planned. I'm going to Sauble with some of my girls this weekend, then DH and I have next week off (Whoo Hooo!).
That's about all we have planned.

Roll on the good weather, wheee!!! July is pretty quiet for us, not too much going on.
August long weekend I'm hoping to get together with a dear friend who lives on the Sunshine Coast. As well a high school friend of mine is visiting from Quebec end of July/early August so hopefully seeing her, it's been a couple of years. Gwen's 1st birthday is on the 10th and we're having her party the day before. Our 5th wedding anniversary is on the 21st, but I think we're just going out for an expensive meal
We're on vacation from August 25th til Sept 1 (or 2nd I think!) down to the Oregon Coast and Northern California. So the second half of summer will be busy!
Going to a cottage with some of DH's aunt/uncles for a week (Muskoka area, not exactly sure where)
DD's first birthday party ( I really should get started on planning that).
My birthday (which really isn't very exciting)
Hopefully decide on a house to build and getting our house ready to sell.
