Recommend your places to visit in NYC please

Hey Ladies,

I will be visiting NY for a few days in about two weeks. Can you recommend any affordable fun places to go or to eat?

Re: Recommend your places to visit in NYC please

  • I really like the Top of the Rock versus the Empire State Building. Central Park is free and always nice, but crowded when its warm out. If you like chocolate, one of my fave restaurants is Max Brenner's Chocolate by the Bald Man (they have a website). The Rock Center Cafe isn't cheap but it is *really* good and worth it!! Or you could try the adjoining Rink Bar for drinks and apps instead. Serendipity is fun, but there's always a *huge* wait! As long as you're patient, the ice cream is *really* good! Also on that street corner is Dylan's Candy Bar, just a fun place. Um...there's tons more. I suggest googling free stuff to do in NYC over the summer. The schedules are out now.

    GL!!

  • Meghan covered a lot, and ITA agree about top of the rock!  I love Tony's Di Napoli for dinner and sangria, but the one on 83rd and 2nd, NOT times square.  You can always find fun things around Central Park.
