What Are "Points"?
I noticed that they show up under "posts," but it doesn't appear that x number of posts equal x number of points, and was wondering how they were determined and what the point of them was.
Re: What Are "Points"?
I asked on the Pet board and no one seems to know. They said the more you post, the more you get. And rating posts will give you more.

Stuck in counting limbo.
SAIF always welcome!!

Really your post count takes you out of newbie status. I think 500 posts = bronze, 2000 posts = silver, 6000 posts = gold and it might be now, 13,000 posts = platinum?
Points are based on post counts and when you start posts, how many replies to that you get.
