I haven't witnessed it firsthand yet, but our cafeteria has a big flatscreen that is constantly on CNN, which said it would begin coverage of the MJ Madness at 6 a.m....EASTERN TIME.
I told my assistant and my boss that there is a chance I may not make it to work tomorrow because I will be held hostage in my home due to all the street closures.
Mr. Mo has already begun devising a plan for me to get out by leaving our car at his work parking structure, which is a tad farther away from Staples and shouldn't be affected by street closures. I will walk to our car and then speed away on open streets.
Fingers crossed.
We are smack-dab in the middle of it all. It is crazy when looking at the map with all the blocked paths. We're totally shut in.

We are now informed that, on Wednesday morning, elephants will be walking the streets of downtown, and there will be more street closures.

It's some Ringling Bros. tradition where the elephants march to the destination.
I can't wait to tell my boss about this one.
Reminds me of when I used to be late to work because of the thousands of sheep crossing the highway. Except I was living in the mountains, not in downtown LA.
