Do they exchange unopened bags/boxes of diapers for another size without a receipt? R has finally outgrown N sized diapers and I still have a bunch from my baby shower.
I took a chance and went to exchange the diapers at BRU today. Because I have a registry there, they accepted them and gave me store credit (except for the ones that they don't carry).
Re: BRU question---UPDATE
Unfortunately, they will not take it back unless you have a receipt or a gift receipt.
I don't know if this will work with BRU, but this is what I did with my Target registry (got this from a fellow Nestie on the Bump).
I went to Target and added the diapers I wanted to exchange to my registry. ?When I got home, I logged on to my Target registry and changed the amount under 'Got It' to reflect the # of packages I have to exchange. ?The next time you have a Target run, bring the diapers in and print out the (I think it's called) Gift received list from the kiosk. ?They'll give you a GC that you can use towards the diapers or anything else you need.
Hope that wasn't too confusing!?
Ha I did this with my wedding registry! We got a bunch of gifts from Macys that werent on our registry and I knew theyd give me the cheapest sale price without a receipt and if its not on your registry. Glad I'm not the only one who thought of this
?Maybe it was the BRU I went to, but I tried exchanging BRU's brand diapers for bigger ones & they wouldn't let me. ?I thought since it was their brand that it would be ok - -nope, they told me I needed a receipt =(
That's genius.
Doesn't wor like that anymore : (
The "Gift Log" or purchase log will show it as "purchased" but it will have a "returnable" comumn and a 0 will be there instead of an actual number.
Try Walmart or any grocery store if they are Huggies/Pampers.
GL!!
