Had contractions today
I started getting them at around 1, and for about an hour I had them for almost every 5 mins. DH got scared, and was about to drive me to the hospital. We were already on the freeway when I got a hold of the Ob nurse who then told me to just lie down on my side for an hour and drink 32 oz of water. The contractions went away for the most part, and I have only had two minor ones since then. Feeling better now, but planning on staying in bed for the rest of the day. When I called them back for a f/u the dr said it is normal, and it is just my body's way of preparing itself for the real thing. So I guess I was having Braxton Hicks. My poor DH I think was more stressed out than I was. On top of that he was trying to fix a busted pipe, and it was leaking lots of water the whole time. Poor guy. At least I got to lie down with the a/c on. Baby is active, too, so I am not as worried now.

(I had so many BHs that I don't even bother telling DH about them anymore. Hope they don't bother you too much!)

Baby love, you hear me? It's auntie B. You need to stay in there & not scare mommy & daddy. You're not done baking. We can't wait to meet you & I know you can't wait to meet your amazing mommy & daddy but all in good time. If you're good then you can have whatever you want.
