Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. Do you actually use a chin up bar when you do the p90x?

 In the area where I will have to do the videos, I don't have a doorway to hang one (well, there are two doorways, but there are bulkheads over top, so no way to do one of those over the door chinup bars)

  • Yes I do have an over the door bar (called 'Power Gym" from Walmart).  It wouldn't fit in the doorway where I work out either, so we installed it down the hall in the doorway to the laundry room.  So I can still hear the video to know when to stop, just can't see them.

    If you can't, you can use resistance bands instead.  You'd need somewhere to hook them onto from the ceiling (I've heard people mention a door attachment you can buy, not sure from where though).  It wouldn't be quite as effective as real pull-ups, but it's better than nothing.
