seasonique? or gardasil shot?

Is anyone on Seasonique? My dr gave it to me today and im a little nervous.

Also has anyone done the gardasil shots? My dr mentions it every time im in there-

Anyone have any experience with either?

My Dr wanted me to get the gardasil shot to...I was going to this year, just be on the safe side.

Seasonique sounds wonderful, but I've never been on it. As for gardasil, if I was younger, and not dealing with the problems of HPV, I would get it. I keep trying to tell my sister she needs to start the series and she keeps putting it off (you would think the med school student would know better). My thought is if there is even a chance it would prevent you from having to go through colposcopies and LEEP procedures, I would do it. They aren't fun, trust me.

dont know about seasonique.

the gaurdasil shot i told my doc i wanted. i got the first round and then i saw on the news it makes you infertile so i didnt get the other two.

What? I guess I need to read up on it, why would they give out a shot to prevent cervical cancer, but yet it can cause infertility. Oh goodness!

I'm too old (I think) for gardasil. Thought youhad to be 26 or younger, and since I'll be 28 next week...

also seasonique..never tried it. im not on any bcp at all (we just use condoms).?

Yes 26 is the max age- I'm 24, i'll be 25 in december, so i have about a year & a half left....

I took the gardasil shots 2 years ago (not long after they came out)...i had no idea about the infertility so that scares me a little bit. My doctor is the one who convinced me to take them. Even though it was all over TV I didnt consider it until he convinced me it was worth taking.

I was well over 26 when the Gardisil shot came out so, it wasn't an option.

I tried Seasonique once and it's didn't work (still got my period every month) for me so, I went back to regular tri-phasic BCP's.
