Poll: Toilet paper preference
Was just discussing this with some friends and there seems to be a very strong preference one way or the other. What do you think?
(The third option was my attempt at humor but doesn't really help the debate.)

Re: Poll: Toilet paper preference
I don't care about seeing the pattern, I just think it's easier to unroll with the paper over the top.
I would just like to HAVE TP holders in my house. Apparently the former owners didn't believe in them.
there is toilet paper with designs on it? all of mine is plain...
Neither did ours. Or curtains or towel racks, haha.
It has to be over the top, I've fixed it at work before. There was a question about this in our pre-marital classes, it's amazing how many people aregued over it. One wanted it over, one wanted it under. Quite interesting.

Oh shiit, I thought I was the only one that did this!
Oh Laurel, that is weird! In Mike's old apt., there were two holders. I thought that was a little strange, but then it worked because we both liked a different kind of TP. Now, we found one we both like, not too soft or too rough. I just sounded like Goldilocks-lmao.

I am a HUGE fan of the over the top. I don't think DH has a preference, but he knows how anal I can be, and he put it on going over the top, just so I don't have to change it.
We recently renovated and our downstairs bathroom has a pocket door. when we were out shopping for fixtures and things, I commented to DH about gettting a toilet paper holder. He told me that it couldn't have one because the only wall it could attach to held the pocket door, and it wouldn't fit. His solution was to put it in a basket on the back of the tank. I explained that it wasn't really convenient for me to reach back all the time! I eventually used gifts cards from BBB and got one that is on a stand.

Shex, you crack me up!
Ultimately, I'm not complaining as long as there is toilet paper. For the poll, I voted for #1 because that's how I put it on the holder and how I like it best.
Ha, thanks, Jody! I like having serious discussions about silly things.
Although apparently this isn't so trivial to some people!
(I do admit I switched it at ILs' house one time. But just the once.)
