Bridal Shower Gift - WWYD
FSIL's shower is this weekend and I already spent $60 on a gift from their registry. For my bridal shower, she spent around $100 and I'm always the type to spend on others what they spent on me but H says that what I got was enough since we're already spending quite a bit traveling to Nicaragua for their wedding. Friends have also told me the same thing but I don't want to come off looking cheap and part of me feels like she's family so I should get a little something else too.
Thoughts?

I think you are fine with what you got, especially given that you guys are gonna be paying so much to go to the wedding. At the same time, I'm sure there is always something she's gonna need, so if your in doubt, throw in something else or add a CG.

Ditto. Normally I have the same mind set as you- spend on them what they spent on me. In this case though, you'll end up spending more after you pay for your travels accommodations to Nicaragua.
