How's everyone today?
I still didn't sleep well last night and have a dr's appt this afternoon, so I'm a little anxious for that. Otherwise I'm doing well.
I tried something new this morning and am enjoying Chocolate PB oatmeal this morning. Yes, you read that right and it's fantastic. (Chocolate protein powder + dark chocolate PB + oatmeal. YUM!)
Re: Good morning!
oops double post. I swear your post was not there when I went to post. I hate that I have to hit refresh if I go off the page, come back in w/o opening a new window. It sucks.
I replied on your FB status but I used to eat that all the time when David was just born. Supposedly oatmeal helps with BF and that was the only way I could get that crap down. I have texture issues and if it's plain, I have no incentive to get it down. I would use chocolate chips and a spoonful of peanut butter, it was yummy.
I just took crecent rolls out of the oven, waiting for them to cool down a tad and for my coffee to finish brewing. The David and I will have breakfast.
I used steel cut oats, so they're rounder, firmer, chewy and not mushy, which was nice. I don't think I could've eaten it with regular oatmeal so easily because that would be like mush-city!
Unfortunately, I cannot perfect making iced coffee at home, though, without protein powder - it STILL tastes like crap (this is my 2nd attempt.) I think I'm going to just dump it and get hot coffee here at work.
Morning...I'm a little tired this morning. I'm beginning to wonder if I should see a doctor about all this fatigue. I got 8.5 hours of sleep last night and was so exhausted this morning. This has been happening a lot and it's not like me at all.
I had a good night though last night. I took the dogs for a long walk and cooked a good meal. I'm obsessed with squash now. Never thought I'd like it until a few months ago I fried it for the first time with my green tomatos and since then I am hooked. I've been grilling it a lot recently with just some salt and pepper. It's so yummy.
