About to have a baby, DH 30th birthday, and our 5th Anniv. are all about the same time so I'm trying to get everything sorted out ASAP! Any ideas for a "woood" 5th Anniv. gift?? I already feel bad b/c I can't do a "big 30th b-day bash"!
Re: 5th Anniv. gift...
What about a really nice wooden frame for a family picture after the baby gets here?
I was going to suggest Boudior pictures, if you have not already done them. I know Lynn Michelle has a wooden box that they can come in...
As for the party you can get him a cake and invite his friends and family (they would pay for themselves) out to a dinner somplace.
cigar box? does he like to do work in the yard if so you could get a new tree. New desk, maybe a nice patio set that is wood or a swing although that would be a gift more for both of you. what about golf I know drivers are not made of wood anymore but you could strech and make it work. If he has a watches what about a nice jewlery box
I thought about and liked the tree idea, but I mentioned getting one and planting it for both of us for our Anniv. since we need a tree in the back yard anyway and he acted like I was half nuts!
I'm glad I didn't do that for him! He does like golf and I thought of a Fairway wood, but he said he's trying to get away from those...I think he's going to get some new irons for his b-day. Oh well...I'll figure something out!
Thanks for the ideas!
