WHAT? Why?

OK, the cloth part is weird enough, but a fun design? Why????

Re: WHAT? Why?

  • The "environment."  ;)

  • Yeah, I'm all about doing good things for the environment--I take my own bags to the store, I recycle. DH and I are almost 100% certain we will cloth diaper any future kiddos. But I have to say, I repectfully draw the line here.

  • cloth pads are along the same lines as cloth diapers. Less crap going into landfills, plus a smaller carbon footprint int he creation of the items. Much like diapers, menstrual pads use all kinds of nasty chemicals and materials to create a hyper-absorbent material that will work for the worst days of AF. These are typically not as absorbent, but you buy, say, 10-15 of them, and wash them, and you're golden.

I don't use these, b/c frankly I think I might throw up if I was washing blood out of fabric every month, but I can understand the purpose behind them.

If you want to switch to something more environmentally friendly than maxi and tampax, check out the diva cup.

  • I bet that seller also makes cloth diapers, so she had extra monkey fabric.  A little silly for cloth pads though!

  • Surprise  That caught me 100% by surprise!  I agree, the idea alone is gross (although I do see the purpose) but all the different patterns?  Strange...

  • You ladies you know you want to coordinate your pad to your t-shirt.
  • Stick out tongue

oh my, oh my....I can not stop laughing

I gotta get some of the monkey ones - that would make a fantastic gag gift

  • Surprise

The monkeys are just too much.

  • Welcome to the monkey pad, lol!!!!

(mixing up the famous "Welcome to the maxi-pad" quote from Reality Bites) Stick out tongue

  • Where are the cloth tampons?
  • I can not stop laughing over the thought of having monkeys in my pants

LOL!!!!!!!  This is wrong on so many different levels!

  • Gross is all I can say about that. Don't get me wrong, I am all for helping out the environment, but I gotta draw the line on that one. That really is quite nasty.
