We're actually not seeing the Brewers. The Timber Rattlers are the A class minor league affiliate for the Brewers and since they're in Appleton, we've been going to those games a lot more. I mean.. to get in and park with the best seats in the house? $23. LOL And they often run $1 hotdog/beer/soda events. We'd spend more than that on one ticket to Miller Park and every time we can go on the weekend, the Brewers are sold out!
But Bush took that line drive the shoulder a little while ago and has been in rehab. If the game is on tonight, he's pitching the A-class game for a few innings. It's going to be a RIOT to see him beat up on the opposing team (hopefully.. if he doesn't, his rehab is obviously not going well!
) But a MAJOR LEAGUE starter against class A players (most of which are like 18-19 or still in HS?!) LOL
Don't you just love minor league games? You still get the entertainment of a baseball game for 1/4 of the price. We have 3 teams around us and have never been disappointed. One time Mark & I even got to play a game on the field! LOL
That should be fun watching Bush! I hope the rain holds off for you so you can see it. I've always wanted to see a Major Leaguer at the A level!
