That's a good one.
H asked me. He got my number (long story) and then called me to go with the baseball team he was coaching to the block. (we were 19-2002). We went there and to Camelot and hung out. It was really lame but I still had a good time since I was totally crushing on him.
Our 1st date was 9 years ago around the end of June. Actually on 7-19 will be the anniversary of when he asked me to be his girlfriend

He asked me I think. We went to the Old Spaghetti factory and then to see Scary Movie. I didn't want to eat anything, I used to have a hang up about guys watching me eat, but he was a little wierded out so I got this tiny salad while he pigged out. I also remember that during the movie someone kept saying "cow" really loud. I kissed him at the end of the date. He told me later that I "attacked" him. It was his 1st kiss. He was such an innocent boy
In some ways at least . . .
Our first date was April 14 (Good Friday 2006). H asked me out and we met at a dive bar in Fullerton for drinks and where he proceeded to teach me how to play pool which just involved him coming up behind me a lot and showing me how to hold the pool stick

Funny thing is I almost canceled on him because it was raining really bad that day, I had the day off from work, had spent the whole day watching tv in bed and the last thing I wanted to do was get out of bed and drive in the rain. Glad I decided to go through with it
I kissed dh at the end of our date too and he loves telling people about how I "attacked" him! I couldn't help myself, he was the hottest guy ever!

I know we met Oct. 01. He asked for my number & called that night. We talked on the phone at first. Our first date was in November? Omg, I'm horrible at dates. anyway, I didn't have a car when we met (and didnt want him knowing where I lived) so the day after I bought my first car, drove out to his apt & we had dinner at the Market Broiler & watched K-PAX.
He tried putting his arm around me during the movie. I took it off my shoulder. I'm such a jerk. hee hee
Ok the first part is understandable, but it made me laugh. P must have been determined!
We met, Nov 3rd, 2001. He asked for my number and said he wanted to go to church with me the next day. He stayed the night at his friends house that night, told his friends parents, he met the girl he was going to marry. I accidently gave him the wrong number so he tried calling me the next morning. He thought I stood him up and I thought he stood me up.
Luckily we had also exchanged email addresses and he emailed me later that evening. We made plans to go to my college group at church the next day. It wasn't much of a first date because my roommate tagged along since she thought he might be a "bad guy" since he was from Riverside. Come on, the guy wanted to go to church with me, how bad can he be, but I let her. We ended up at Taco Bell of all places for dinner. We were poor college kids at the time.
By, Nov 16th we were officially dating.
HAHAHHAHAHAHAH!!!!! This reminds me of the OC episode (I didnt watch,I heard about it) when someone went to Chino and they acted like it was unthinkable.
She was from Riverside and was all concerned!
Turns out a couple of years later, she ends up dating the worst guy ever, ended up doing drugs, he gave her an STD. He was verbally and physically abusive to her. We went to a small christian school in Irvine. His dad was the dean of Arts and Sciences as well.
Oh, he was. I thought for sure he would run away after I yelled at some kids kicking my seat. Nope, tried putting his arm around me. lol
I can't remember who kissed who. Must have been mutual. I remember when it was though.

Brandy~ You crack me up! I love that you kicked his arm off your shoulder. When I first told Chris where I lived to pick me up, I freaked out because I didn't know if he was a psycho yet or not.
We kinda had 2 first dates. I was going out with a friend of mine and some of her other friends. I was talking to one of the gals about how I'd been single forever (I hadn't really dated in almost 2 years) she decided to call her fried (Chris) and have him meet us at the club. I figured why not, maybe I'd get a free drink, maybe even a dinner (ended up with a husband). He came to the club, we talked for a bit, and I went to dance, because that's how I roll. He said he couldn't dance because his knees were bad, but I figured, I was there to dance, so sorry. He sat on the side for like 2 min before joining me. We ended up slow dancing to club music for 2 hours. There may or may not have have been some kissing going on.
. Honestly the moment we started dancing I knew that there was something special going on. He asked if he could take me to dinner the next night and I gave him my number. The next night we went to Friday's for dinner and then went and saw National Treasure. We met the day after Thanksgiving, Nov 26, 2004, and the "first" date was Nov 27. 
I say chris kissed me, but he says I was giving him the "come hither" eyes. I'm not even sure what that means!

We went on a few dates before P gave me a kiss. When I asked him what took so long he said, "well, after you threw my arm off of you. I didn't know what you would do if I tried to kiss you!" hahahahahahaha

H didn't wait to kiss me but he didn't say "I love you" until December and we started dating in February. He dropped tons of hints so I knew he did but he couldn't find the courage until New Years Eve. Oh, and he never asked me to be his girlfriend. I always used to wonder if he would ask me to marry him or just start introducing me as his fiance.

Kristy: P did the same thing! We weren't dating for that long but on Jan 3 (we were at his friends house) & he said "I think girlfriend". I made a comment how one day he would just call me his "I think wife" so he asked me out on the spot.

He asked me. We met at Ontario Mills, and then he took me to Victoria Gardens (Jan 05...it was brand new and I hadn't even heard of it). We bought tickets to see White Noise, then went to the Beer Hunter for a few beers before the movie. After the movie we went to his house to watch Old School...and make out!
We had just met a week before, very randomly, at Heroes in Fullerton on NYE.
I am late, but I LOVE polls like these.
