Dancing in AC

I am in the midst of planning my sister's bachelorette party in AC and was hoping for some help. We're staying at the Chelsea and will probably go to dinner in the Tropicana. For afterwards, I know there are a few fun bars i teh Chelsea and the Trop, but what are the fun dancing places - ie - no gross men, possible VIP area? TIA :)

Re: Dancing in AC

  • My only experience at any club in AC came when I was 7 1/2 months PG. We went to Providence at the Trop. Nice club, they have VIP w/bottle service. The bouncer was great helping me traverse the dancefloor to get to the bathroom.
  • I should also explain it was DH and his best friends 30th birthdays. That was the only reason I was the big PG at the club!
  • There is 32 degrees in Tropicana that has dancing. There is also Boogie Nights in Resorts that is all 70 & 80's music.

They also just opened Dusk in Caesar's that is supposed to be very swank and even nicer than Mur Mur in Borgata.

  • Boogie Nights!!  I had a blast there!  I forget what casino it's in...I think resorts.  But it's all 70's and 80's music, they have bottle service as well.  Firewaters at the bottom of the Trop is a lot of fun too.  I like going there because there is hardly ever a cover, and if there is it's only $5.

  • Boogie Nights is a lot of fun. I was there this past may for a bachelorette party and we had a great time~we were on the dance floor all night! It is in Resorts ~ and they do have VIP. Murmur in The Borgata is so much fun too. We went there for my bachelorette party and the music was great and they have a bongo player that goes around the dance floor drumming to the music~it sounds cheesy but we loved him!
  • It depends what kind of party your looking to have...

Cheesy Party tons of fun, don't have to worry about gross guys trying to get all up on you and pretty price right I would totally go with Boogie nights.  I've been there about 6 times bottle service 3 and have never been disapointed.

A little more glam party with really good music I'd do murmur...more money but a good time...bongo guy is awesome..I have some fun pics with him from my bparty!  I would ONLY do bottle service here.  LOL...

The new club Dusk is supposed to be great...we were supposed to go there Friday but decided not too.  I have a reservation for Nadine's party Aug. so we shall see.

If anyone wants the name of my friend for any VIP service in AC let me know.  He will hook you up with great deals on hotel, dinner, clubs etc..(just tell him I sent ya!)

The Chelsea is fun...you could just stay there!!

  • The Chelsea has a new club that just opened at the beginning of July.  Never been, but I had a flyer on my car at the gym the other day.
  • Thanks for the info. We are staying at the Chelsea, and I'm trying to get more info about their clubs.. my sister is 31, and I just don't want to go to a 21-yr-old kind of club. I'd rather go to a nicer place with fun music. The 2 clubs at the Chelsea look amazing. THanks for all your recs!
