F/U: Suncreen Review

As promised, we used this sunscreen this weekend at the baseball diamond:

Love, love, LOVE it.  It's a decent thick cream, but we applied it when we got to the baseball diamond and then sat in direct sun for 3+ hours.  I felt a little warm from the intense sun, but didn't burn and didn't reapply at all.  My husband even liked it.

It wasn't all that greasy (felt very good, and left a little sheen across my shoulders.)  I didn't try it on my face, but they make this exact thing in Face, so I think I'm going to next weekend (MH has a softball tournament.)

For $9 @ Walmart, GREAT buy.  And I love the 70 SPF!

Re: F/U: Suncreen Review

  • Thank you for doing the review! Im looking for one with a high spf for disney. Im especially prone to burning since i do not tan at all so i appreciate this.

Yeah, we wanted a high SPF as well... this seems to cut it.  I'd probably reapply ever 3-4 hours or more often depending how you feel, but it didn't feel disgusting on, and was pleasantly surprised!  (As compared to the last stuff I posted about?  We reapplied NUMEROUS times and I still got kind of red.  With 70+ SPF claim.)

  • Yeah and i hate that greasy feeling but i havent heard great things about the sprays really. I heard a bunch of the sprays you end up having to rub in anyways and then its like well what was the point of it being a spray lol. I have a banana boat one now but its only 55 and when we were home we went to an outdoor flea market and still had to reapply and i still got burnt! So no more of that for me.
