Weekend was surprisingly drama free.
Friday was my little sisters HS graduation a year early.
Saturday was my first shower and then later a grad party for my sisters and I at the beach....loooonnnngggg day!
Sunday rested my poor swollen body.
This week, back to the bedrest....a friend may be coming to visit on tuesday...woot!
Fri: Dinner and a movie at home
Sat: The launch of the shuttle got scrubbed so we lounged around all day and read our books.
Sun: farmers market with friends, hung out and drank beer in the beer gardens, then went for $2 mimosas after that. When we got home, we found out MH's grandma in Canada passed away.
But, on a positive note, it looks like our trip was just in time and he was able to see her before she passed. We were supposed to have friends over for a True Blood viewing party, but we canceled it so MH could have some time.
Friday: First sewing class (so fun!), dinner at home, news that our friend delivered a healthy baby boy - they didn't know the gender so it was even more of a surprise than normal.
Saturday: Gym, lazy afternoon at home, quick stop at a friend's b-day party. Received some really awful news from my bff, my stomach is still in knots over it.
Sunday: Lazy morning, cleaned up the house, paid bills, pool time in the afternoon capped off with a yummy dinner at home.
I'm so over it being Monday already. Blah.
Friday--had class followed by meeting up with an old friend for drinks. Had a very interesting and fun evening.
Saturday--had class all day (not too much fun on minimal sleep) and then went out for karoke
Sunday--lounged around, mani/pedi, and a puppy play date
I really wish it was still the weekend. This week is the last bit of quiet for me as I prepared for 3 weeks of on and off traveling and lots of out of town visiters
Friday: Game night with the neighbors, capped off with a midnight taco run to King Taco.
Saturday: Went to pilates, then went to pickup my car from its servicing. While we were there, we scoped out all the new Lexus models and saw a ridiculous $117K car. Met up with some friends for a casual dinner in the evening.
Sunday: Spent the day being lazy at home. We watched Pineapple Express and Eagle Eye, both of which were better than I expected. I also did some planning for our trip to D.C. next month.
fri: made homemade pizza, it was a success minus the fact that I didn't use cornmeal on the stone so there was no bottom crust.
sat: went to a baby shower, then a BBQ
sun: ran a bunch of errands, made more pizza - with cornmeal this time (I think I'm in trouble).
this week: we're going, going, back, back, to cali, cali!
Fri - Angel game. Amazing!
Sat - 9 mile run, mani/pedi, outdoor wedding at 3pm in the YL. It was hot as a mofo, but the bride & groom seemed happy and looked good.
Sun - beach fun/good times. The water was so warm! drinks at Javier's with friends, Ziggy Marley/311 concert
this week should be super as it's the start of my birthday festivities! I have a birthday HH for someone else, birthday dinners, birthday duffy and birthday Coldplay concert on Sunday. Fun!
I'm going to this as well! I think we have lawn seats though.

Really quiet weekend. Saturday was absorbed by R's brothers coming over (and one not leaving until 5:30am, ugh). Other than that, just worked on some projects around the house and stayed close to home.

Saturday - 10 mile run, saw transformers, then watched the fight with friends
Sunday - 5 mile run, brunch, beach, and then a movie and Harper's Island with H, Thai food, and a nice Sauvignon Blanc
I can't even concentrate on the week because I want it to be the weekend again

Nothing breeds faster than Crazy
Happy monday, bleg sooo tired!
Friday - tried to relax at home with our newly snipped puppy who was being a handful and with whom I was up until 2 am that night
Sat - FSIL bridal shower and then UFC fight party at our house
Sun - slept in, did a whole bunch of errands and shopping, tried a new crockpot recipe and watched the first few episodes of Mad Men
Friday: Hanging out with the husband
Saturday: Hair, mall, Cheesecake Factory
Sunday: Headed out to the Peninsula to eat some Rockin' Baja lobster tacos. Yum. It was quite a scene for being there in the evening!
This week is short for me - I fly out Thursday morning to Chicago for my cousin's wedding. I can't wait!
Friday: Dinner and Public Enemies at The Grove with friends.
Saturday: Lunch at Street with my brother. Indonesian dinner with other food bloggers.
Sunday: Dim sum and hanging out at the Pagoda Bar with friends.
This week: Nothing planned yet.
Weekend flew by again.
Saturday morning I spent 3+ hours on a documentary video/slideshow for my SIL's foster group. Then in the afternoon our new Washer and Dryer came so I did about 18 loads of laundy. Yes I'm probably exaggerating but it was so rad to finish loads of laundry so quickly. In the evening we went to a BBQ at a friends house. I made the most bomb-azz pasta salad. Yay!
Sunday felt like "Visitors day". We had neighbors stop by....D's parents came by....and then my parent showed up with some chicken to BBQ so we had a nice dinner to wrap up the weekend.
I totally hate Mondays.......
