Rec GP/Oxford - United Healthcare

OK, sort of related to my other post, but my GP and his office full of idiots has pissed me off for the last time, hopefully, and I'm looking for a new GP - doesn't matter if it is a man or a woman, just good, clean office, good track record for not making you wait forever, preferably on the UES or in Midtown East.  Thanks!

Re: Rec GP/Oxford - United Healthcare

  • I have Oxford as well and i luckily picked a fantastic GP!

    Valerie Lyon

654 Madison Ave, #5, New York, NY 10065

There's also a Dr. Martin with this location, but he's a guy and i prefer female docs.

I've only been there once for a checkup and saw her PA (Phys Asst) and she was young and wonderful! This office is also *very* prompt with getting you the referrals you need! I needed refs for a Chiropractor and an Orthopedist and got them within an hour of calling and leaving a message!

    GL! Big Smile
  • Oh, also, the office is nice. It's small, but that's NYC real estate for you. Wink And i didn't wait long at all to be seen! I even went during my lunch break! The staff is fairly young but very nice and helpful. Big Smile
  • I also have Oxford.

    Dr. Edward Barnes
    317 34th St. Fl 7
    (212) 726-7434

I' always in and out of there in under an hour, they run a very efficent operation.
