As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. I should ditch DH more often...
I am in Syracuse right now visiting my mom without the ball and chain. My main reason for coming up was that one of my HS BFF's is here visiting from NC with her BF. There are also a bunch of other people that I had wanted to see. It was a last minute decision to come up and I wasn't even sure that I should come, especially since I was just here last weekend. It has been the nicest trip. I am sure I would have had fun if DH was here but I doubt it would have been the same.
Sat, I arrived. I went downtown to see my BFF and also a friend's band play. Of course bumped into mire people I knew.
Yesterday, we went to her parent's place on the lake and spent time with her and her family. Spent the afternoon canoeing, bbq'ing, and sitting around a campfire. Watched a gorgeous sunset.
Today, I have lunch with another friend, visit with a third friend that is expecting in just a few weeks. Possibly meet with yet another friend. My mom is cooking my fave meal for dinner.
Tomorrow, my mom has booked at day at the spa. Massage, pedicure, etc and lunch.
Um, yeah... it's been tough. I am seriously considering coming up by myself again in a couple of weeks. Is that selfish?
