I'm so sorry to hear about your grandfather's passing. I'm not sure if I missed a prior post about it but I just wanted to send along my condolences.

Thanks, Yvonne. It happened while I was on vacation, and I wasn't online much, so there was no post.
I'm okay. He was 90 and had a really long and really good life. He had a stroke a couple of weeks prior and it was just time to let go.
Thanks for checking in on me though. How are you guys doing? I read that you had a great time at the cottage - glad to hear it!
Glad to hear you're okay. It's so wonderful that he had such a full and happy life - it makes saying goodbye a little easier.
I'm doing okay - enjoying the summer and trying to get outside. I took Sammy for a two and half hour walk today from to the library and back. Little did I know that most of it was slightly uphill - ugh. This weekend DH and I are going away for 1 night to Niagara Falls to celebrate my birthday. It will be my first ever baby free overnight. I'm really excited. DH had all this stuff planned to do and all I want to do is go for a massage and do a little sitting and enjoy the quiet. I'm sure once we get there though I will want to be more on the go.
Maybe next week we can finally go for our ice cream date - did you know that now Baskin Robbins has soft serve and choclate dip? This is dangerous especially since I live a ten minute walk from one. It's a good thing I'm already in my pj's or I would be walking over right now.
