Anyone watch Here Come the Newlyweds?
This was a show my H and I got into this summer. I really liked the Hinkins (who didnt). I kinda had a feeling the Corilesses would win, but I was rooting for the McMorris'. Mr C's speech at the end was really good, but I feel like they already have money and didnt need it as much. Who spends $300 on jeans??

I did! I watched the finale on DVR last night. I was crying when Mr. Corliss gave his speech. I was rooting for them because they are alot like H and me...we poke fun at each other and are pretty sarcastic but it's all in good fun.
I didn't like the way Mrs. McMorris handled the elimination of the Hinkins. I also didn't like the way Mr. McMorris acted in the baby-van challenge. He was really impatient and kind of blew up. I felt like the Corliss' got the most out of the show and that's why they won.
Yea, I guess you are right. I teared up at his speech, too.
I admit that I cried when the Hinkins got voted off bc I really wanted them to win. After than, I liked the Newberry's, so I wasnt in love with the final 2 at all.
I was upset when the Hinkins went home. I thought that was such a crock.
I was hoping it would be the Newberry's and the Corliss' in the finale. I wasn't expecting the McMorisses to get there. I also didn't like how Mrs. McMorris was basically campaigning during the little mixer they had--it made her seem a little fake and like she was just after the money.
I don't know how these couples can take 2 months off just to be on a TV show--same for The Bachelor and Bachelorette. I could never do that!
I thought that was weird too. It's like...do they know when they're taping? Where else do they have cameras??
I'd be throwing a towel on top of the camera every night, but then they'd still have sound. Gross.
The H and I play along, too! hehe, we are such nerds.
I think that they probably have designated camera time in their rooms each night since it isnt like it is one of those surveillance cameras (like they have in the rooms on the Real World). I can't imagine that they would tape all night.
