Waah!
DH and I were invited on a hike this friday. The only thing - it is an 11 km hike up a mountain. DH is gung-ho to go, and bring our poor doggies. Part of me would like to go, but the other (sensible) part of me knows it will end in blisters, bug bites and me bitching. And the other thing, it's a 2 hour drive to get there.... maybe mother nature will bucket rain so I don't have to think of an excuse not to go.....

I would be one of those - "that would be so much fun, I can't wait" type people and then regret it all day. 10km isnt' that long, but still I think I would end up bitching too.
But if you bring refreshments and snacks and the hubs knows that you might want a break then go for it. I'm sure the sights will be great!
