I see in the poll that a couple of you saw Bruno but would not recommend it. Why?? My H and I were going to see it this week!

I haven't seen it but want to, too! It's going to be a Netflix movie for me, though.

I loved Borat and Ali G. They are so funny. Bruno is an over-sexed, gay character of his. The movie was vulger and crossed many lines to gross instead of funny. We thought about walking out but just sat through it, half the time with our hands over our eyes. I had to stop eating my popcorn b/c my stomach was turning so much.

I thought Borat was hysterical and I found myself laughing at what he was doing. With Bruno, I think I was just in disbelief that he was actually doing some of these things. Some parts were just vulgar and I had to look away from the screen. Maybe I'm just conservative, but I didn't really think the movie was that funny. There were funny pieces, but as a whole, I wouldn't watch it again. There were plenty of people in the theatre laughing hysterically, MH included. You probably won't laugh like the Hangover laughter!
