My baby is no longer a puppy (even though she'll always be our puppy)!
Xena Marie S., born 07/15/07, turns 2 today.

Re: It's Official...
OMG look at her tounge! How does she fit it in her mouth?!
Clo will be 3 in Sept. Well, really prob about now, but we don't know when she was born...all I know is she was 6 weeks old when we got her in early Sept. She'll get a puppy cupcake in Sept though.

Happy Birthday Xena!
P.S. I still call mine a puppy and she is 3 1/2.
Awwww. Happy Birthday Xena!
Also....we found out yesterday that in the 16 months we've had Nellie she has gained like 10 pounds. She is now an 85 lb lap dog!
We are having a doggy celebration at our friends' house (they have a fenced in yard and are the owners of Xena's BFF Halle and Halle's older sis Sydney.) There will be cupcakes. The dogs love them (vanilla, of course). They'll play like mad, and then be so exhausted they won't be able to anymore and collapse.
(No joke: BFFs. We DRIVE BY and Halle apparently goes bezerk and nearly runs through the patio door. We turn onto the street that goes near their house, Xena's ears are up and she starts whining. When we go to leave, Halle whines and whimpers as we walk away. Halle, by the way, is a 70-pound Belgian Shepherd mix. They love one another dearly.)
Crystal, the first picture of the night we brought her home? 12 pounds. Now? 75+ She's not a lap dog, but she'll spoon with you when it suits her.
hehe, when we get to DH's hometown Nellie goes NUTS she just knows she is close to her "cousin" Shadow. They play and play and when we decide to leave after about 2 days usually, she gets in the truck, lays down and doesn't move for the 1 1/2 hour ride home!
I love how our babies love to be spooners, snugglers and lap dogs...I don't think they realize just quite how big they really are!
