They did this on another board and I figured since it's been kinda slow this week, I'd ask here.
What is your favorite memory from your wedding day?
Re: Poll/Question
Man this was a tough question! I had to think about it for awhile and go through my married bio. I have a few moments during the day that I'd consider my favorite but looking back now I think our cocktail hour when H and I were alone and took pics together was probably my favorite. It was when it really hit me we were married and the first time all day I was able to relax.
Other than that walking down the aisle and my father-daughter dance are close 2nd and 3rd fav moments.
I would have to say it was right after the ceremony and we walked out of the sanctuary into the lobby area and we were alone for just a few minutes he hugged me tight and told me he loved me, I hugged him back and thats when I started to cry Thats the moment I felt married it was beautiful
Hmm...this is seriously tough. And hard to remember. What the heck...it's only been 4 years.
I think my favorite memory from that day was seeing tears in H's eyes. He didn't cry, but he did get watery. He had never done that in front of me before. I think the only time since was when Mary was born and even then it was pretty dry over there. I was just shocked.
But the day was just amazing. The weather was perfect, being a bride was awesome. Nothing really bothered me at all.
Our first dance.
P sang our entire song in my ear. Midsong he picked me up & twirled me around the dance floor. I swear, until I heard everyone clap it felt as though we were the only ones there.
After our exit and we got into the car and started to drive away, we turned and looked at each other and it dawned on both of us that we were actually married.
Also, driving up to the Mission Inn and getting out and everyone staring at us all dressed up. I felt like a princess.
You were! That dress was ga, ga, gorgeous!
Thanks Brandy!
Wow, so many I can't pick jut one. I think the whole day was so special because it was the last time most of our relatives and friends got to see my mom. She looked SO beautiful that day. She passed away unexpectedly only 3 months later.
That day was also the last big family gathering for my uncle Calvin and my maternal grandpa.
