Hairball on couch...

So my cat hates me right now as she had to go to the vet for her check up, when we got home as I was putting the comfies on I hear her on my microsuede couch hacking up a hairball... I didn't make it on time.

I have no idea how to clean this... any thoughts?

Re: Hairball on couch...

  • Don't rub it in, pat only. I have a pet stain remover that I use whenever the dogs barf, and it works really well. That with lots of water and we've never had a permanent stain. Good luck:)

  • Ditto patting it off. Use a white or light rag. I have also used alcohol wipes before and had success with removing stains.
  • Yuck!

Definitely no rubbing it in. I'd try to scrape it off, and then pat at it like the other girls have said. Once it's all gone, maybe some oxy?

Yuck!  Do you think it was a revenge hairball?  We used to get revenge poops - but thankfully on the floor and while we were in a rental.

I have no ideas about cleaning.  Microfibre is tricky - hence Chloe's princess blankey
