Hi ladies, I'm an Omaha nestie and I'm going to the OC for a vacation in mid August. I was wondering what kind of outfits I should pack/ shop for?
?
Re: Need clothing help : )
What exactly will you be doing? Definitely influence my suggestions.
I'll be going to Laguna Beach and Dana Point for dinner, shopping, and strolling around the beach. I'll be staying in Murrieta most of the time though.?
?It's my first "romantic getaway" with a guy since my divorce : )?
It can get miserably hot there.
Is there a particular reason you're going to Murrieta?
Murrieta is probably the last place I think of when the term romantic getaway comes to mind.
Ah, ok.
Well, it's really hot there. Dress accordingly. Have fun.

It will be hot as a mother effer in Murietta. Shorts and tank tops. Removable skin, if possible.
For dinner and stuff in Laguna, I would bring some cute dresses or jeans with a dressy top...both with a light sweater. The nights by the beach can get kinda chilly.
As PPs have mentioned, it is sweltering hot in Murrieta. I would pack lots of sundresses, tank tops, shorts, skirts and sandals. Maybe a pair of jeans for the evenings where you won't be in Murrieta. Lots of sunblock, a hat and sunglasses are a good idea too.
Take some light sweaters for the evenings you'll be at the beach.
Have fun!

I am about 15 minutes north of Murrieta....it is about 90 degrees at 9 am, and 108 by mid day. Removable skin is the best idea I have heard yet. Also, a portable mister system is great.
But since these aren't options, dress for heat.
