She had her vaccinations yesterday and she took it like a trooper. ?She didn't even cry until the second needle was coming out. ?I even made her giggle between shots. ?She was a bit lethargic yesterday and very clingy which I know is normal and then I picked her up this morning (I kept her in our room with us last night because she was acting strange and I wanted to keep an eye on her.) and she was on fire but not sweaty. ?I took her temp rectally and it immediately went to 38.5. I didn't even bother waiting for it to beep to tell me it was done and I called telehealth. ?They told me that she was having a normal reaction and not to worry unless it persists past three days but I am still worried cause well how can you not right??

Re: Scarlett has a fever :(
That happens to Sammy with her vaccinations and especially with teething. I just give her baby advil and lots of cuddles. Good luck, I know how hard it is to deal with a little one who isn't feeling well. Hope she feels betters soon!
Dani always gets a low grade fever after vaccinations.
The one time she got 102.1 about 2 days after her shots - and that wasn't a reaction to the shot. It was Rotavirus.
Just keep an eye on her. Tylenol and cuddles. If her fever worsens on the tylenol, then I'd be concerned.
GL! I hate fevers too. They always send me into panic mode. I better get used to them - kids get them all the time!
Awww poor baby!
I hope she feels better soon for her & your sake!
