So my friend just had a m/c. Her levels still aren't down to 0. She says she's Oing and is going to try. I suggested she wait a cycle and this was her response.
"Naw...then I would just get more depressed and feel like I didn't try hard enough. (Her H) is just as bad mind you. He's all for it."
Am I the only one who thinks this is crazy? Or is it just that I can't relate to it?
Re: ?? (m/c)
I would question if she's even Oing. It's possible for her to have Oing symptoms, but I doubt that she's actually Oing if her body is still recovering from the pregnancy. Not that I'm an expert or anything. But if they want to "try" and it makes them feel better, they can go for it. I doubt she'll get pg though.
Is she charting?
I think people handle m/c's differently and some might be okay with trying again right away and others need to take a couple of cycles off. So, I don't think I have any issues with them deciding to go ahead.
But, that being said, I don't think she would be Oing if her levels aren't all the down. I don't really know though.
Yes. Well she was pre-pregnancy. I dont' know if she's gotten back into it or not. Knowing her....probably.
After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!
((she just said her temps, test and mucus say she's oing))
Well if her temps are up than she's already O'd and its too late. I don't think there is a way your temps can tell if your about to O, just that you did. I still think that its more likely her body is giving mixed signals while it recovers. At the same time, I'm sure its possible for some women to O so quickly after a pregnancy/m/c. Every body is different.
I agree that she's probably rushing things a bit, but ultimitly if they wanna give it the shot than that's their perogative. If it were me, I'd want more time to just recover emotionally.
Now that you mention it...since her levels aren't 0 isn't it possible to get a false positive on a O stick?
I agree..it's really not my place to say (and so I won't) but I think this chick is coo-coo. (for more reasons than just this one)
OPKs test the LH surge you get just before you O. I think it's possible that she's getting a false pos because of the horemones that are going on right now, but I don't know a whole lot about what horemones are typical at this point or not.
Yeah, I'm an A Type personality and all, but I think she needs to relax just a bit.
