We got the inside tour of the ER this morning
due to Neve's 102 degree fever and a lack of any children's motrin to be found in Doha. Poor thing got a rectal temp and a suppository; she was a little pissed. Thankfully, we had excellent service at the same hospital I will be delivering at. We were walked right in to see a doctor, literally in and at the pharmacy counter in a half an hour! Thankfully, her fever is also down this evening.

Wow - sounds like fantastic care. Glad to hear her fever is down. Any idea what it was from?
P.S. What time is there?
We had a hard time finding meds in Germany. I ended up getting my mother to bring over a bunch of baby Tylenol and Motrin. They definitely prefer suppositories for kids there, and what oral meds there were all had the same orangey flavour which Jakob didn't like. At least the suppositories are supposed to work quickly, and I'm glad that seems to have been the case for Neve!
(I saw your reply, but haven't had a chance to read it all through. I will write back though!)

I can't imagine giving a kid a suppository... that would not be fun
