it's a small (lesbian) world
Random story of the day. I can't remember if I mentioned that our Valentine's Day trip to Dublin was in Budget Travel magazine a while ago. If not, it was, feel free to check out our tiny island of gayness in a sea of straight media. (It's online but there are more pictures in the June print version).
Anyway, we were in New Orleans this weekend, walking around the French Quarter. We were crossing the street and hear our names being called from a passing car. It was two very friendly, very cute women who it turned out had seen the article and recognized us. But it took us a couple minutes to figure this out, since E and I both assumed they were friends of the other. (I thought they were your friends! No, they're yours!). Ever since, E has been referring to herself as "a lesbian celebrity." So cute!
