Cool! Murietta's not too far from me (I'm in Corona)!
It gets HOT here during the day and doesn't cool down all that much at night (our AC runs pretty much day and night). I mean like over 100 hot (but it's a dry heat
). I've seen it hotter than heck in Corona and foggy in Dana Point/Laguna Beach. Layers is probably your best bet for the coast. It's pretty much a sure thing shorts and tank tops are good for Murietta. A jacket for the evenings on the coast is a good idea too. I pretty much wear flip-flops 24/7 whether I'm at home or at the beach.

Like the other girls said, it's been HOT HOT HOT and will be even hotter in August! So tanks, shorts, and flip flops. For the coast bring a light sweater and a pair of jeans. Hope you have a great trip!

In college, my roommate from Palm Springs would say it was freezing and I thought it was hot. This was in Irvine.
