I'm New!
Hi Everyone,
My name is Stacy and I'm pretty new here. Not just to "the nest" but the NJ. I'm from the midwest and moved here a couple years ago after my husband and I met on Match.com. He owns his own business and wasn't going anywhere so I made the leap and can say I'm still adjusting and settling in. We have been together for 4 years this October and have been married since August. I'm looking to make some new girlfriends out here. I miss my group back in my hometown so I thought this may be a good way to start! Also, I hope to have a reason to join the bump.com soon as we are really trying for our first baby! It's nice to meet you and I look forward to chating with you more:-)

We have a GTG planned on July 28th--a few of us are meeting up at Prospectors in Mt. Laurel for some drinks if you're interested. It's a few posts down.

Welcome to NJ and the nest! I moved here 2 years ago from northern NJ (about 1.5 hrs north) and didn't know anyone in the area (besides my husband). It is definitely an adjustment and I had many teary conversations with my husband about missing "girl time" and my friends. Luckily, I was planning our wedding, so I started posting on theknot.com and went to a couple "GTG's." I was able to meet some awesome girls and make friends in the area.
Anyways, I just wanted to say that I can relate and it is great to see you on here!

I met my DH on match.com and we were married in August, too! Funny coincidence.
I went to a GTG last year right before my wedding and had a good time. I'm going to try to make it to Prospectors cause I miss having girls to chat with. Hope to see you there!

That 's great to know. Are you missing those harsh winters? I don't miss the snow but I'm not that crazy about these ice storms! I'll be at the GTG on the 28th. Hopefully I'll see you there!
