Best Guy to marry but not-so-good family
Just want to say that I am a lucky girl to marry the best guy in town! He loves me and would do anything for me. Most of all he knows how to make me laugh. We are complete opposites and we lern to balance each other out - or most of the time try anyways.
Problem is his family is not as close knit as mine. His parents are separated and cannot stand each other. They are even coming at separate times for our wedding. He knows they are not the most wholesome family and even says that.
In the back of my mind, I am scared that he wil be like them and our marriage will fall apart.

We are not destined to repeat our parents' mistakes. Sometimes we learn from them instead and consciously make different choices.
I'd be more worried about dealing with his family's drama for years to come!
I wouldn't worry too much about it. As long as your husband recognizes that this isn't a good way to live and doesn't want to live like this himself, I don't think you'll end up this way.
My husband's family is pretty dysfunctional and he knows it. And he isn't anything like them.
