Are you doing a specific diet? (Atkins, SBD, Zone, etc.)
If not, what are you doing differently?
Are you working out?
Just curious bc I was surprised to see on FB last night how many people planned on today being the first day of their diet.
Re: Who is on a diet?
I ate a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich this morning
I have lost six pounds in the last two weeks.
Whoa! Are you exercising or what are you doing?
Just eating a little less and avoiding most white processed things.
No exercise.
But I have a lot to lose, so it's easier than if you're already thin.
I'm trying to avoid processed things too. Low sodium (kinda) helps that cause.
Wan - I envy your dang metabolism.
Are you doing a specific diet? (Atkins, SBD, Zone, etc.) No.
If not, what are you doing differently? Eating less in general and more restrictive about breakfast and lunch options, at least during the week.
Are you working out? So far just my usual pilates and ice skating, but I plan to start walking every day.
It's always the exercise part of dieting for me that is so hard. When I get home from work, usually around 615, I'm tired and lazy. And hungry! I've started to go in the mornings before work but it's so hard getting out of a comfy bed.
Boo.
Well, you know about Operation Anorexia.
Basically much smaller portions and no bad sugars. That means no white anything!
Exercise is something I'm trying to squeeze in. I feel so bad leaving Lu home alone after I get there and see her, but she isn't understanding the whole walk thing yet.
After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!
um, no.
I'm trying to do WW and eat healthier in general.
I don't exercise as much as I'd like (hard to get to the gym with a toddler who won't do kids club). I have an exercise bike that I've been using while reading (makes the time go by quicker and better than reading in bed).
Trying to cook more (I guess anything is more than never!) and eat less processed foods. I'm also trying to branch out and try new veggies and healthy dishes.?
I'm unemployed so I'm planning on hitting up the gym like crazy and doing 30DS at home.
I'm on a diet that's evolved into a lifestyle change over the past several months. I eat low fat/salt/sugar and try to avoid processed foods. I do cheat here and there, but usually only allow myself one or two treats. I keep my portions fairly small.
I try to get 2 hrs of exercise per week. Lately that's been mostly fast walking and hiking. I was doing strength training but I've been slacking off the past 2 months.
So far, I've lost around 25lbs. I'd like to lose another 10-15, depending on my muscle mass. It's been tougher lately with my random health issues and higher stress level but I'm hoping that will all change very soon.
not a diet, but I do watch what I eat. I work out regularly (4-6 times a week)
I would lose a bunch of weight if I could lay off the booze.
Right there with ya. I think I hit my plateau because I was not paying enough attention to how much I was drinking. The past two weeks I've limited myself to a glass of red wine with dinner and already lost 2lbs.
I?m not on any specific type of diet like South Beach or WW. Mine is more like, stop eating so much junk food and start moving more. I?m taking the stairs at work (my cube is on the 3rd floor), and I?m trying to fit in a 20 minute walk every day during my lunch.
I?m going to get back to my 10 minute trainer workouts in the evenings. I did it for a couple weeks and then stopped because I am a loser and cannot get my butt in gear to work out for 10 measly minutes at night.
I suck at diets but really need to be on one since we leave for BIL's destination wedding a week from today.
If only I didnt have to work, I could eat healthier but being at work makes me eat more and crappier =/
I'm working out 6 days a week...4 days of cardio/crunches and 2 days with my trainer.
As far as my diet, I have my coffee with sugar free creamer in the morning, then oatmeal for breakfast. Lunch is 4 oz. of meat, veggies and a small portion of carbohydrates (rice, potato, etc...). My snack between lunch and dinner is either a protein bar, a piece of fruit or a Fiber One Bar. Dinner is veggies and 4 oz. of meat, no carbohydrates. Dessert for this first week with my trainer is a protein shake, then starting next week it'll be sugar free jello/sugar free popsicles.
I hope this all pays off and gets me to my goal cuz I miss my carbs and working out 6 days a week when I work 10 hours a day is rough!!
