I know, I am an excel nerd...
Well, I created an exercise log, really more of a running log, in excel. Some people keep journals, but in a faraway life I was a business major so I keep an excel spreadsheet!
I added it all up, and I did 16.7 miles last week! Yay! I was going to post this on the health and fitness board, as I lurk and post some on there. However... I just read a post from girls who are doing 40 - 50 miles per week. So, I decided I would share my story here instead.
Sorry for all the running posts, I'm just currently pumped about this. Running is totally "my" time and a stress relief. Also, I don't run so well in MN snow, so I have to do it while it's nice.
Have a good Monday!!

Re: I know, I am an excel nerd...
Megan - no, I don't have many good running gadgets. I do have my ipod which has a stopwatch in it. I just discovered a few weeks ago that my ipod does indeed have a stopwatch. I would LOVE one of those GPS devices for running so you know how far you've gone at all times, etc. BUT, I'm way too cheap.
I do have an old heart rate monitor that I had to buy for a PE class in college. It is just a cheap-o, maybe $20. It was uncomfortable to wear so I haven't used it much since, but if you want just a basic heart rate monitor, it isn't too expensive.
Maybe you will become an excel nerd with me too??
