s/o: how often do you talk to H/SO when one of you is traveling?
Re: s/o: how often do you talk to H/SO when one of you is traveling?
if the trip is only a few days, once or twice the whole trip (just to say we landed/got there safely).
if the trip is longer, once every few days.
After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!
the hub's "traveling" usually consists of an overnighter somewhere for a client. he typically calls/texts when he's at the airport and then again upon arrival. i usually get a call that night before bedtime.
i haven't been able to do any solo traveling since the bean.
It all depends on how busy he is. Sometimes he's literally working for 16+ hours straight.
Generally, for domestic travel at least once a day. For international travel, every few days, if that. We'll email pretty often though (well, I will and he'll respond when he's able).
He's gone now for another week.
Ditto
This. He responds to my emails more often when he's traveling than when he's at home. I don't know why.
Once a day. He will call before he goes to sleep.
Same when I travel.
This. I may get a text a day and sometimes a phone call.
This.
Depends on the length of the trip but at least when he lands and when he's on his way home. Then a few times inbetween.
Short trips: once a day
Longer trips: texts throughout the day and a phone call after work
A call in the evening with texts through out the day.
