What are the points (listed by your post count) for? How do you get them?

You get them for posting (I think its something like 15 pts for every reply you make) and you get them for starting a topic or thread. They don't really have much significance though (at least to my knowledge).

Jen is right, they mean nothing. I really don't know why they are there. You get 15 points for responses and the OP gets more points as more people respond. Otherwise you can get points supposedly for other things like putting pictures in the nest galleries or having a nest blog, etc. I have no idea if that is actually true though because I don't use those things.

I was not aware of that part so thanks for the clarification Stacey! I had heard the part about adding pics to the nest galleries too but wasn't 100% because I haven't done that either!

So I guess it's just a representation of how active you are on the Nest. Maybe someday they'll give prizes to the people with the most points!
