How many wedding pictures...
in your house?
It has been soooo hard trying to figure out which pictures I want to print out and frame for our home. I do not want to overwhelm the place with pictures of us...that would be weird. It is difficult deciding how much is enough and how much is too much.
I know you might not have exact numbers...but what is the ratio of wedding to non-wedding pictures in your place?
Re: How many wedding pictures...
We have 1. haha. It's one my Mom took and it's a 5x7 on the bookshelf. We have it next to our marriage license and our marriage certificate that we got from the chuch. Then there is a collage in our hallway that I had printed for the reception that's 4 or 5 [suddenly it escapes me] of us before our engagement. And there are 3 of my Mom's kitties on another bookshelf. There are some we want printed, but they are being touched up, so it'll be a bit still.
I say it's your house, decorate how you want it
I'd say maybe 2-3 in like the living room, 1 in the hall, 1 in a bedroom if you want one there. I bet it'll be great how you do it though.

We have one in the guest room (4x6) and one in the dining room (8x10), but we only set that one down in the dining room in a frame because we had the frame lying around and I bought the 8x10 photo from Walgreens just to see how it looked, lol.
We don't plan to have any printed to specifically hang or set out or anything. We mostly want to just do a photo album or photobook to have to keep.

We'll have 9 wedding pictures but maybe half of those are just of us. The remainder are some family pictures (which I think eliminates the "wedding" aspect-lol) and one bridal party with us in the center. I went more black & white of the "wedding shots" because I think it helps them blend in more and you can mix & match with other B&W pics (honeymoon, dog, random objects, engagement) and I think it makes it seem less "wedding". Family pics are definitely colored though and I have no idea what I'm doing with those yet. Maybe do a random gathering of family pictures on a wall or something.

Thanks, ladies! I have ordered a good number of pictures but a lot of them are of family from the wedding. We will probably do like y'all said and disperse ones of us throughout our place.
I'm like you Whitney...I am a picture person. So by the time I add pictures from the wedding, my place will be absolutely full of pictures!
I had to buy more shelves to have room to put them all!

Wow! That is impressive.
I did this for my own curiosity but I figured I'd share it.
The pink hearts are NWR pictures, the gold hearts are WR, and the Tiffany colored hearts are two e-pics and two honeymoon pictures.
I counted and there are over twice as many NWR as wedding so I was right when i said I'd have half again as many pictures once they wedding ones were up. We've got pictures through the rest of the house too, but this is by far where they're most concentrated.

Wow! That is definitely impressive. I wish we had enough space to have that many pictures! We do have a table full of them as well as our dressers and a good number of them on the walls.
We didn't have many picture frames left over from my move and discarding old ones...so I went on a frame shopping spree today. Ended up buying approximately 17 frames for under $100. And really spent a little less than half of that since we had a gift card with $53 dollars on it.
Now our place really feels like a home!
