So I'm getting read to start working, all of a sudden I hear something hit the floor upstairs, quiet, and then david starts wining and then crying. What do I see when I come upstairs?

In case you can't tell, that's nail polish all over the floor. Not only was it on the tile but has also stained the grout. I didn't want to but I had to use nail polish removed on the hardwood floors. Luckily, it didn't take off the varnish. The child's hand was also covered in it, along with his shoes, and clothes. What else happened? It some how got splattered on my black Express work pants (normally I don't throw out labels but we all know that they are not cheap pants).
Ugh, this child has a death wish.
this is what it looks like after I was able to get it off the tile (not the grout, that has to get removed, covered with a rug, or something else)

and here HE is trying to help out... yeah, not so much

I can't wait for my sister to come over in like 5 hours....
Re: David is on my list
I didn't know what to say either. I called DH and was like what's the best way to get this up. Nail polish remover worked the best but it obviously didn't work on the grout. I have oxy clean on there right now and of course, david made his way back into the damn bathroom, slipped and fell and was then covered in said oxy clean. I have rinsed him off and put him in his bed for a nap. He has finally calmed down and I can now get to work.
It's been too long of a morning and it's only 9:30.
I'm sorry, Melanie. I think you're right that the grout will have to be redone in order to get that out.
I just googled it and it appears you can't really remove the nail polish from the grout.
You can try recoloring ALL of the grout, or regrouting.
Yeah, I was a tad bit upset. I mean, I couldn't really yell at him because he didn't know what he did. So I cleaned him off and put him in his crib until I got most of it and the glass off the floor. At his point, it's mildly amusing. In the heat of the moment, I was on the verge of angry tears (the tears when you are so mad and you could do nothing but cry, yeah those tears).
At least it came off of the hardwood and the tile. DH is most likely going to grind out the grout and add new.
One co-worker suggested we paint it. I was like WTF?!? That'll look even worse.
