I woke up with this in my shirt this morning....
This morning I woke up about 15 minutes before my alarm went off because I head a buzzing sound. I felt something crawling around my stomach area and FREAKED out. I took off my shirt, jumped out of bed, and a JAPANESE BEETLE fell out of my pj shirt and onto the bed.

I swear it was out to get me. I saw it yesterday outside and it was pestering me. I was telling J last night how freaked out I was by them. How on earth did it get it my house?!?!?!
I still feel gross just thinking about it
Re: I woke up with this in my shirt this morning....
Eww! That would freak me out. I am not a fan of bugs.
How did jumping out of bed work out for ya?
Haven't you been hurting anyway. I bet that felt great.
All bugs scare me, and this was a big bug!
My fear of the bug immediately shifted to the pain in my back. I was hurdled over for a couple minutes : / Yea, not the greatest start to my morning!
OMG EWWWW! I hate those beetles! You poor thing, hurting your back
I'm pretty sure I've developed a serious bug phobia.
After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!
ewwwww... sorry to hear about your back hurting.
The poor little guy just wanted some warmth and comfort and you looked like you could provide that!
Seriously, if that had happened to me I'd have to change the sheets on my bed (and thank God I have a waterproof mattress pad).
I still feel like it is crawling on me : /
I'm sure Jason thinks I overreacted. He just picked it up calmly (gross!) and set it free outside.
Men always think we overreact.
They sure do. A gets irritated when I scream about spiders.
H gets mad at me when I won't try and catch a june bug. Yeah, like I really want a flying bug in my hand. ::shudders::
Oh no! I'm sorry! What did you do to your back in the first place?
Back pain really sucks- and adding insult to injury with the icky bug!
I don't think I did anything to begin with. It only happens at night, or when I go from a laying down to getting up position. It gets this sharp pain every time that makes me hurdle over and rock back and forth. I think it has something to do with me rolling over onto my back while sleeping, which is something that I'm not supposed to do anyways with so much extra weight on front. Either way, it totally blows.
Everyone else - Jason totally gets annoyed when I scream over bugs or refuse to try and "catch" them. ick ick ick.
Sorry about the pain- definitely no fun
And LOL about the screaming over bugs... I usually don't freak out- but I go get a paper towel and hand it to H, point and say HERE - GO GET IT!
Lol! How on earth did that get in your shirt?
My dog is terrified of these. Imagine a 40lb dog wimpering from fright as the beetle chases him around and around.
O....M....G!!!
I would have taken another shower! LOL!!
